Ingredients:
1 teaspoon dry yeast
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
2/3 cup warm water (105° F.)
1 tablespoon oil
2 cups flour
| Tip:
105°
F. would be the same temperature as a nice warm bath. So, you don't
need a thermometer, just use your finger. |
Directions:
Put yeast, sugar, salt, and dry milk in a large (2
qt.) bowl.
Add water and stir to mix well. Allow to sit for
two minutes.
Add oil and stir again.
Add flour and stir until dough forms and flour is
absorbed. knead, roll out and put in greased pan. Note: many pizza
places also sprinkle their pan with corn meal after they grease it.
This helps the dough to not stick to the pan and can add a little more
flavor too.
Add sauce and toppings and bake at 475° for about
14 min. or until crust is browned.
| Tip:
If
you use a pizza screen (a very inexpensive pizza pan with holes all
over in it), your pizza will cook better and faster. In fact you'll
probably have to cut the cooking time down to 10-12
minutes. |
Enjoy!
