Delicious, Easy Italian recipes
You can never have too many easy Italian recipes: Chicken
Parmesan, lasagna,
spaghetti,
fettuccine
Alfredo, pizza,
shrimp
scampi, etc. Am I making you hungry yet?
Traditional
Italian cuisine focuses on the regions fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs,
and spices. The Italians try to use the best and the freshest
ingredients they can find. For this reason, many Italian dishes are
very seasonal. If you love Italian food, consider growing your own herb garden. This will allow you to use fresh herbs and dry them for off season use.
When you try these easy Italian recipes, try to
use as many fresh ingredients as you can: fresh tomatoes, fresh
parsley, fresh garlic, etc. This is the key to making these dishes
sensational. Many Italian's even use fresh olive oil.
Italian
cuisine also focuses on cheese, bread, and wine. These round out the
meal. I don't drink, so I don't know anything about wine, but an Italian
cream soda makes a great non-alcoholic drink for your meal
(they are wonderful). Purchasing some high quality Italian cheeses to eat after dinner
or to use as a garnish for your main dish is also a good idea. Of
course, don't forget the garlic
bread or bread sticks to go along side your main dish.
